Ride & Relax

We have put together a nice new program, which combines the best of two worlds: to ride the noble Lusitano and totally relax, in a very calming environment, in the Portuguese countryside.

• Day 1: In order for you to relax immediately, we come and pick you up from Lisbon airport. It takes only about 50 minutes to get to our Quinta. We welcome you with a snack and drinks, during which we get to know each other, and then go for our first ride out. After this forst relaxing ride we will come together in the evening for a lovely dinner.

   

• Day 2:  Well rested and after a nice breakfast, we bring horses and riders to our partner´s estate: Monte do Areeiro. After check-in a wonderful ride out in this magical surroundings follows. You can relax in your room, outside, or by the pool, after a nice picnic lunch. It is also possible to book a massage, as an extra to treat yourself. We will enjoy dinner together on the Monte.

   

• Day 3: After a good night´s rest and breakfast, we begin the day with another 2 hour ride. Back at the farm a nice lunch will await us. Again the afternoon will be open for you to decide on what you would like to do to relax some more. A massage, read a book, a dip in the pool….Before another sumptuous meal.

• Day 4: Breakfast will be followed by a tour with the Monte´s owner Frederico, to see the Lusitano mares and foals of his breeding program. He has a wealth of knowledge about the breed.

  And then it is goodbye. We bring you back to the airport. Or… depending on availability, it is possible to add a day back at our Quinta where you can take a private lesson on our schoolmaster Lusitano horses or choose to ride out for another trailride.

  An add-on day includes transport back to our farm and to the airport the next day, as well as the meals and 1 lesson.

• full board, all meals and drinks with the  meals inluded, pick up and transfer back to Lisbon airport, very charming and comfortable accommodation, 3 rides on our well trained Lusitano horses guided by an experieced guide.
• Add on extra day at Quinta dos Pinheiros with  meals and 1 lesson, extra airport transfer: in shared room 315€per person/ 385€ in single room.
